You can use your ReadyCARD® Prepaid Mastercard® anywhere a prepaid debit Mastercard is accepted. Likewise, a Visa ReadyCARD® Prepaid Visa® card is a valid payment method anywhere a prepaid debit Visa is accepted, including in-store and online purchases.
You can check your ReadyCARD® balance for free online at this website: https://rcbalance.com/ or scan the QR code at any ReadySTATION® kiosk. Alternatively, call Customer Service at 1-800-506-0630 to hear your current balance.
No, your ReadyCARD cannot carry a negative balance. The transaction will decline if the purchase amount exceeds the funds available on your card. In this case, the merchant will request your payment again to complete the transaction. To avoid this, always check your ReadyCARD balance in advance at a ReadySTATION kiosk or by logging into your card account.
No, ReadyCARD® is not reloadable. Once you use the card balance, simply obtain a new card at your nearest ReadySTATION® kiosk.
Ensure sufficient funds are on your card, and check for any pending transactions. Some merchants (like a gas station or hotel) may place a temporary hold that will affect the cardholder’s available balance. You can always check your available balance at rcbalance.com before using your card (or any time).
Any remaining balance on your ReadyCARD® is non-refundable. Nor is it possible to cancel your card.
If you notice an unauthorized or incorrect charge, contact customer support. Simply use the phone number on the back of your card to initiate the dispute process.
